IN THE last two years, I barely had enough time for introspection. I have been occupied with so many things that I did not notice my emotional and spiritual hunger.
My time had been spent on adjusting to my job and adjusting to life at home. I’ve been away from home since 2003 and it had been quite stressful to be living in a new environment at home.
I had a difficult time facing up to the new challenges. I’ve been living outside my comfort zone for most of the time and I am always treading new grounds. The responsibilities are greater and failing is never an option.
Uhm, it’s of a lesser magnitude. Nonetheless, it’s something that keeps me up until the wee hours of the morning, trying to figure out how to tackle my little problem.

I AM an advocate of the freedom of expression and I respect Rosanna Roces’ right to express her opinion. Whatever penalties the MTRCB imposed on her is beyond my concern and I am in no position to tell whether she (or the show) deserved the sanction given by the MTRCB.

I WAS about to buy ice cream at a mini-mart in our public market yesterday afternoon when I noticed some streamers hanging on a store around the corner.
Written in red paint on empty rice sacks, they looked like one of those streamers that activists hang to express their grievances. The sight instantly caught my attention.
I looked closer to see what the streamers were all about. Alabel is not for Sale. Justice for the Market Vendors. I understood.
