I WAS one of the room examiners for the National Achievement Test Yesterday and I was assigned at Kawas National High School and there was something about my experience that made me feel sad. It automatically sent me into contemplative mood.
I attended a seminar in Davao City last week. We where we had a speaker from Singapore, who introduced an educational resource employed in his country. It incorporates ICT in education in a deeper level. Looks like they are preparing their students for the world as early as elementary.

WE ARE on the streets of Zamboanga now. It’s quite peaceful here contrary to popular belief.
We are here for the 1st National Science and Mathematics Summit Fair that is participated in by regional science high schools in the country.
I’m with four co-teachers and four students and we will be here until February 16.
In the picture below is my co-teacher, Ms. Eljay, who has just experience her first flight and she wanted everything documented.

I hope this trip will give me the relaxation I’ve always wanted.

IF YOU were to promote a nutrition campaign would you consider commisioning Angelica Jones and Megastar impersonator Ate Shawie?

INREDIBLE. Angelica Jones Promoting Good Nutrition to students in Alabel, Sarangani Province
In fairness to these two personalities, they are good at their craft — making people laugh. However, I think that the National Nutrition Council made a grave mistake, choosing these two to promote the Accelerated Hunger Mitigation Program.
This is not an attack on the two personalities but a criticism on the manner of entertaining the students who were asked to attend the program.

I’M SO damn tired. (sigh)
No, don’t get me wrong. I’m so happy with teaching. I love the discovery each and every day. What consumes most of my energy are the other tasks assigned to me.
Don’t get me wrong again. I enjoy doing other tasks, too — if and only if I know the objectives of such activities. Sometimes I don’t understand what output I should deliver.

...
A FEW months ago, I posted something about me working out to achieve a six-pack abs. Now, what has happened to it?
Let me tell you about our three o’clock habit…
We have a sort of a mafia in school. We are a group of like-minded teachers who get along so well with each other. We are the ones who planned out a daily badminton session. We also are the ones who take part of the three o’clock habit.
What is this habit all about?
