A Million-Peso Question: Who Won in Smart’s Bigtym Buddy Promo?

Ayel

JUST CURIOUS. Smart’s Bigtym Buddy Promo promised to give away a total of 50 Million Pesos, giving Php 500, 000.00 every day from September 11 to December 9, 2009,  Php 1, 000, 000.00 in three monthy draws, and Php 5, 000, 000.00 in the Grand Draw.

Very enticing promo.

Now, it’s already February and Smart still has not updated the Smart Bigtym Buddy List of Winners on their site. I also haven’t seen it aired on TV. I searched on the web also if someone has blogged about having won on the said promo but I found none.

Mobile Blogging in Zamboanga

Ayel

WE ARE on the streets of Zamboanga now. It’s quite peaceful here contrary to popular belief.

We are here for the 1st National Science and Mathematics Summit Fair that is participated in by regional science high schools in the country.

I’m with four co-teachers and four students and we will be here until February 16.

In the picture below is my co-teacher, Ms. Eljay, who has just experience her first flight and she wanted everything documented.

First Timer

I hope this trip will give me the relaxation I’ve always wanted.

My Worst Experience With Globe's Mobile Service

Ayel

I HAVE been a Globe user for about five years and I have always been satisfied with its services. Until they launched their ETXT and SULITXT promos through AutoLoadMAX.

Towards the end of December, I have loaded more than 500 pesos because we were organizing our First Ever Grand Alumni Homecoming. I have learned about the promo I mentioned above. I thought it will help lessen my expenses. Unfortunately, it had been otherwise.

Blogging From Marbel

Ayel

IT’S NICE to be back here.

We are here for the Regional Super Quiz Bee. I hope we can make it to the national level this time.

Right now I’m blogging from Lambat Sa Ciudad, a resto here. We are having dinner. It feels good to be here again, the place which used to absorb all my stress in my not so distant past.

Good day, everyone!

Obsessed With Mobile Connectivity

Ayel

MY PHONE is not a high-end one but I have turned it into a gadget of multi functionality courtesy of free mobile downloads.

I can now check my mail, connect with friends via IM, surf the web, and update this blog! My phone actually doesn’t support Gmail but I downloaded a mobile software that now allows me to access my Gmail account, anytime, anywhere. :D

I am using Globe INET, which charges me Php 5.00 per 15 minutes. That’s Php 20 per hour. I am quite satisfied with the connection speed. Maybe, I just didn’t have high expectations, taking note that I’m here in the province.

The downside of Globe’s GPRS service is that, if your connection is interrupted before your 15-minute surfing time ends, you have to pay the full 15-minute’s worth of GPRS connection. The default scheme is per kilobyte, I think its Php 0.15 per kb. That’s too expensive. That means more Php 100 per 1MB download. To shift to the time scheme, text TIME to 1111 for free.
