3D IS definitely the IN thing today; everything is going 3D. Why not? We appreciate things better if they appear to be real, don’t we? That is true especially for movies.
I had my first 3D Cinema experience yesterday at Robinson’s Place Gensan’s Movieworld, where we watched Shrek Forever After and it proved to be one great movie to watch in 3D. I have seen all the Shrek movies but this one is the most memorable for me, thanks to an upgraded visual experience.

NO LESS than a World Boxing Champion is representing the province of Sarangani in the Lower House when the next session begins.
With a wide margin of over 11, 000 votes and getting the trust of about two-thirds of the voting population, Emmanuel “Manny/Pacman” Pacquiao knocked out the champion of a 17-year dynasty, Roy Chiongbian.
It took the COMELEC three days after the election before finally proclaiming the new set of provincial government officials due to delays in the transmission of election returns.

VICTORIOUS: (From L-R) Gov. Migz Dominguez, Cong. Manny Pacquaio, Election Officer Atty. Michael Abas, and V-Gov. Steve Solon

WE ARE inching closer to the big day. We will again exercise our right of suffrage and perform our duty as citizens of this country.
Now here are some final notes that I’d like to remind myself about before I cast my vote on Monday:
- Finalize my picks for the different positions from national to local level. I will write it in a clean sheet of paper I can easily put inside my pocket.
- Keep posted on the recent election updates via RP2010, the election blogwatch.

ELECTIONS IN the Philippines would not be complete without vehicles–from a luxurious Everest to a lowly tricycle–roaming the streets, broadcasting campaign jingles through loudspeakers and turning the town’s thoroughfares into an open-air music bar with a frantic mix of borrowed music with localized (and often awkwardly-written) lyrics.

Jingles are a creative way of introducing a candidate and conveying his message across to people. They are played over and over again to increase the probability that the electorate will recall the candidate’s name and characteristics.

ONE OF GenSan’s pride, Teatro Ambahanon of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, will stage Tecla, a contemporary ballet that depicts the struggles of today’s women, tonight at the KCC Convention Center.
Aside from being an art lover, I am especially interested about the show because a friend of mine, Hanna Theresa Rivas, is part of the cast. She won in last year’s National Modern Dance Competition duo category.

I already got a ticket. It only costs fifty pesos. I hope to see you there.
The show, I believe, is part of Kalilangan 2010’s public offering. Check out Sir Avel’s Blog.

MOURNFUL CHRISTMAS. That is how it would probably be for the families of the victims of the massacre in Ampatuan, Maguindanao that left 47 (as of this writing) innocent people dead.
I couldn’t imagine what kind of animals could rape and kill those innocent individuals, including a dozen of journalists.
This is probably the worst killing incident I’ve seen so far. Worse, the likeliness that justice will be served is very dim as the suspected mastermind, aside from being a powerful clan in ARMM, is a close ally of the President. Not only are they allies, the President must be indebted to them, looking at the result of the 2004 election in the region.
