Where's the six-pack abs now?

Ayel

...

A FEW months ago, I posted something about me working out to achieve a six-pack abs. Now, what has happened to it?

Let me tell you about our three o’clock habit

We have a sort of a mafia in school. We are a group of like-minded teachers who get along so well with each other. We are the ones who planned out a daily badminton session. We also are the ones who take part of the three o’clock habit.

What is this habit all about?

It begins at two thirty. One of us, usually, Ma’am Ching, the group’s mother figure, would start collecting money from us. At other times, the more generous (or blessed) ones would sponsor one of our sessions.

Once the money is intact, I and Sir Jasper would go buy the life of the three o’clock habit — suman (a local delicacy, usually cassava or a special variety of rice wrapped in banana leaf) and coffee. Sometimes, these stuff and delivered straight to the faculty room.

In other words, the three o’clock habit is a gastronomic encounter, an intake of loads of calories, a sinful habit.

It really takes a great deal of self-discipline to achieve that six-pack abs. What happened instead, I added packs of fat into my belly. But my six-pack dream doesn’t end here.

There’s still light at the end of the tunnel. Though it flickers now, at least, it’s still there. Haha.
