My Worst Experience With Globe's Mobile Service
I HAVE been a Globe user for about five years and I have always been satisfied with its services. Until they launched their ETXT and SULITXT promos through AutoLoadMAX.
Towards the end of December, I have loaded more than 500 pesos because we were organizing our First Ever Grand Alumni Homecoming. I have learned about the promo I mentioned above. I thought it will help lessen my expenses. Unfortunately, it had been otherwise.
I gave my full trust on Globe.’s service. All the while, since I received a message from Globe that I can already use the ETXT promo, I thought that everything was fine. When I checked my balance later, I discovered that all those messages I sent were deducted from my regular load.
Of course, the promo expired the next day. It expired without me being able to avail of it. That was injustice. But I let it pass. I had been to tired to entertain such a petty problem.
When I forgot about it, I tried availing of the promo again. The same thing happened. I let that one pass, too. I was too ecstatic with the Christmas spirit to complain. I also resented to the idea that it might just be technical error due to the Christmas rush. I forgave that.
January 5, at around 6 PM. I said that since the Christmas rush was over. Probably, Globe’s system was fine. I tried the service again. For the third time, the same thing happened. This time, I didn’t let is pass. Three times is too much.
I called up Globe’s Customer Service hotline. I couldn’t connect at first. The time the customer service representative picked up the line, I explained what happened. He made me wait for a very long time but he seemed to not know what he has to do. He promised that the load used up will be returned shortly. But even up to now, I never received any load from Globe. He made me wait for a few minutes more until he suggested that I call up again after 30 minutes. I tried but I couldn’t connect. Until I fell asleep.
I came to a conclusion that Globe’s ETXT 20 and SULITXT 15 through AutoLoadMAX doesn’t work. I can imagine how many subscribers have been fooled by this scheme. I will never, ever, by ETXT 20 or SULITXT 15 though AutoLoadMAX. And I don’t think I’m still considering Globe’s Broadband service.

Just to be fair with the network, I also had an experience somehow like that with the UNLITXT50 (the now UNLITXT80). My credits were also deducted but the service never really kicked in. I also called Globe’s cust serv and told them about the problem. They said that They will have it investigated on but they told me I had to wait. Finally, when I have put that issue under lot of other priorities, I received an autoload transaction for 50 pesos and a cust serv rep called me to inform me that they have credited me back the amount. Try that and talk to them again. Ăś

@sheng – My phone is back, fortunately. My co-teachers are the culprit. They wanted to teach me a lesson.

Read the promo’s services, you might misunderstood it (just maybe)
. Or the network fails to support the service during that time. I been a subscriber to the network since I have my first phone and had enjoyed and is enjoying the services and promos without problems. Hehehe.
