I'm Not Going to Subic Anymore

IT DOESN’T always feel like this, but there’s a kind of gloom reigning in the atmosphere today. Is it the rain or my poor health condition? Whatever it is, like it has always been said, the show must go on.

It must.

Let me tell you about what happened last week. It’s been raining here, like, forever, you know. Despite my good diet, intake of food supplement, exercise, and enough rest, my immune system still broke down. So, I was absent for two days last week but still had to report to school Saturday for the entrance exam for incoming freshmen students and Sunday, I had to attend my class.

Today, I’m back to work but I still don’t feel well. But we’ll only have three days of classes this week because of some events that we’ll be participating in like the “Tamdanan sa Balaod,” which will be held here in the school. I’ve heard Chief Justice Reynato Puno is coming over. Our school will also be a venue for table tennis as part of the Provincial Athletic Meet. That means a lot of work for us and a lot of nagging from our panicky principal.

One more thing, it’s MunaTo Festival this week, but how can I have fun when I’m this sick? How can I enjoy the Joey Ayala and Sugarfree concerts on the 27th and 29th?
