Science Clubbing Month Culminating Activities

SEPTEMBER IS the month for Science Clubbing and our school, being a regional science high school, is actively taking part in the celebration through our annual Science Camp.

This is my second time to be part of this activity as a teacher here. Last year, I had a miniscule role. I just took some pictures. This time, I played a little more active role. But, of course, I can’t simply get into the scene. I’m still in the background. I handled the printing of the camp t-shirts, which I personally designed. I’ll also be hosting the Search for Mr. & Ms. Agham tomorrow night. (Reminds me of my highschool days.)

Earlier this month, I asked my students to put up a Physics Exhibit, which runs until Saturday this week. It’s a contest between my classes and I will be announcing the winners in one of our Sci-Camp activities. The prizes will be from my blogging money. (Thanks to Google AdSense and Sponsored Reviews. Haha.) I’m planning to make it an annual activity, too.

Next week, we will be participating in the Division-wide Science Camp, where I will be one of the judges in the Science Investigatory projects. (Reminds me of my highschool days, again.)

Confession: I have trouble managing my time. It’s a dilemma. The book I bought about time-management has not been of much help to me. It might be high time now to try self-management.

How I wish our school has this kind of activity! I can foresee some future scientists within our midst and their talents can go to waste if don’t take the first step. You have just given me an idea! Thanks!!!1
