THE NEWS that Laarni Lozada, a native of Sultan Kudarat here, was hailed by the people as the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 Grand Star Dreamer was the perfect cure to the tension I felt after being deceived yesterday.

We were so happy in our house that night as if Laarni was part of the family. My co-teachers congratulated me as if I personally knew Laarni.

I am amused at the fact that the voting public finally considered talent in choosing the winner in the reality talent search and didn’t just vote in sympathy to the contestant.

Another good thing to cherish is Charice Pempengco’s second guesting on Oprah and being invited to sing with Celine Dion at the Madison Square as part of the later’s world tour. Hurrah to Charice!
