Travel bloggers Byahilo and Libotero shares trade secrets

ShareI HAVE always loved going places, but I have always believed, too, that traveling is synonymous with spending. An out-of-town holiday then remains an elusive dream for me. If there’s one person whose travels make me envious, it’s Enrico Dee of Byahilo.com who gets to travel from one...

A WARNING is circulating on the web these days about an 8.1 magnitude earthquake that will hit in the Philippines on July 18, 2008. Here’s a portion of the email, verbatim:

July 18, 2008 – Philippines will have  8.1 earthquake, thousands of people will die.

LET US BE ALERT AND MARK THIS DATE JULY 18, 2008, FRIDAY. LET’S BE PREPARED, AND  LET US ALL PRAY THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN TO US.

IF POSSIBLE: DON’T GO TO WORK ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH OFFICES LOCATED IN HIGH PLACES, BUILDINGS, CONDOS AND MALLS.

NOTHING TO LOSE IN THIS KIND OF REMINDER. MAYBE THIS IS GOD’S WAY TO SAVE YOU, YOUR FAMILY , YOUR FRIENDS AND YOUR OFFICEMATES OR LESSEN CASUALTIES.

LET’S ALL PRAY AND MARK THIS DATE.
FORWARD TO ALL IN YOUR CONTACT LIST TO WARN YOUR RELATIVES, FRIENDS AND YOUR LOVED ONES AND ALL PEOPLE LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES.

It’s really possible that some disastrous natural calamity or force majeur will come on any given day. Even Chinese Feng Shui experts failed to protect their own people from the devastation that struck them recently.

I’m science teacher but I also believe in the unexplained. Although we have no control over nature, it seems like doomsayers are inviting these destructions to happen. For me, it’s like they are trying to tell God what to do.

Whatever God wills, He does. God will protect His people as He always did.

toxic boi, yeah. if you’d like to read the whole email, i’ll be glad to send it you. Haha. it even documents the previous predictions made by this certain man. :D

sana nga eh maging open-minded naman yung iba. maraming nagdududa sa balitang yan. mabuti nga, not to speak really about the prediction itself, pero kahit papano that way, we are again reminded to stay alert all the time. alam na natin for a fact that our country is prone to earthquakes. nasa ring of fire tayo di ba? so para dun sa iba na mabilis magsabing “nako, hindi totoo yan! mga g*go lang gumagawa nyan!”, mag-isip din muna bago magsalita. did they induce you to believe or idolize the prediction? di naman eh. siguro napakaperfect nila kaya handa silang mamatay anumang oras. di naman sa pagiging segurista pero yung ibang tao dyan, nagsasalita lang para tingalaan sila na parang mga martir “dasal lang ang kailangan” – pero kelan ba pa sila nagpunta sa simbahan? mga pilipino talaga, maraming gustong palabasin.
