The Aftermath
FOUR DAYS after, you can still feel the agony caused by the flood to more than 600 affected families. The following are pictures taken at Purok Maharlika, on the way to our school. According to a friend who works at the Provincial Capitol told me that the flood had caused greater damage in Ladol, a coastal village.
 
With about 20 houses totally destroyed and several hectares of crops, leaving an estimated damage amounting to about PhP 30 million, the flood that hit the municipality of Alabel, Sarangani Province on Friday, June 20, is probably the biggest in the history of the province.

i’m sad to see this. just visited sarangani last may and twas such a lovely place. wala tlga tayong magagawa pag kalaban nating si mother nature… like your site. ex links??

So bad… Even sa amin sa Mindoro ay ganun din… Signal number 3 pa nga e…
Well, habang bumabagyo ay nag-eenjoy kami sa duty namin sa Bulacan not knowing na may mga nangyayari nang ganyan. Pagbalik lang namin ng Manila ko nalaman yan kasi no time kami for TV…
We decided na bago magstart ang duty namin tommorow ay aattend kami ng mass sa Barasoain Church…
