School Opens Tomorrow; I'm Nervous
SCHOOL YEAR 2008-2009 will officially begin tomorrow. And I’m nervous about it.
What makes me nervous is the fact that I will be observed by DepEd supervisors from the regional office. Now, I am busy preparing myself for tomorrow, my lesson, my uniform, and my self.
It will be my first time to teach first year science. As introduction, I will be performing some magic tricks and we will do some mad science experiments to give my students an impression that learning science is fun. As you know, first impressions last.
I created powerpoint presentations for my third year and fourth year students as an overview of what we will be taking up for the whole year. We will also have some group games so we will comfortable with each other.
This year will be very stressfull, I’m sure. I just hope I can cope.
***
Classes will begin tomorrow and not today becasue today is a non-working holiday. The holiday should have been June 12 but due to Gloria’s economic policy, it was moved to June 9. This has confused some people. They don’t know now the exact date of the Independence Day. Other don’t know whether we have any reason to comemorate that even in our history. One of them is the Batang Kalye.
Have a blessed day, everyone!

wow!!! pasukan nanaman! hehehe
You must be really nervous. But I’m pretty sure you’ll make it through. I’m sure you’re students will love your lessons more. Expect more demands for cool experiments ( based on experience, I enjoyed learning science because of the experiments when I was still in elementary)
Goodluck!

I also like to be a teacher someday. Science is a hard subject but it’s also interesting. I think teaching is such a noble profession. I hope you’ll have fun for tomorrow’s first day.
Good luck!
