Looking Out for the Best Broadband Service

Ayel

I STARTED my quest for the best broadband service that will connect me to the world wide web from our home. Turned out, I am not looking for the best but the ONLY broadband service I could avail of.

Whenever I go down to GenSan I always see to it that I can learn new information about setting up internet at home. There are a few choices I’m considering, PLDT myDSL, Smart Bro, and Globe Broadband. I procured brochures of these services and made a comparison using speed and price as bases.

I found Globe Broadband bundles attractive. They offer landline only, internet only, and broadband and landline bundles. For surfing speed up to 3 mbps, the price is only Php 1, 995.00. At the same price, you can also enjoy up to 2 mbps internet and Globe Landline.

I made up my mind on that only to know that Globe Broadband isn’t operating in our town yet. Here’s the message I received from them: “Gud AM, wla pa po kaming available na connection sa Alabel…” Too bad. PLDT myDSL isn’t operating here, too. The only one left is Smart Bro, which, if you Google it, dissatisfies many of its clients.

Well, I could settle with Smart Bro. They have this plan Php 999.00 for 384 kbps internet. It also comes with a 4gb imation flash drive for only Php 399.00. But I don’t need that flash drive; I already have 3gb of storage.

In the next few weeks, I hope, I will already be blogging from home. Pray for me. :D
