Havin’ Fun Despite Busy Sched
I SHOULD say that these days are my busiest.
I feel like a student again, rushing to finish all the requirements before graduation comes. I have a lot of things to accomplish. But like a masochist, I seem to like it. Very much.
I enjoy it because I feel useful again. I guess it is my primary need to be of use to people. Haha.
I sat as one of the panelists in the two-day thesis defense of the seniors. It wasn’t very hard because I have observed so many of similar events when I worked at the NDMU Research Center where I have learned what questions to ask. I have also been into numerous research congresses so I have sort of mastered the process.
I enjoyed it because by looking at them, I recalled how nervous I was when I was in their situation about five years ago. This time, it was I who made them nervous because they thought I would ask tough questions. But of course, I had been friendly.
This afternoon, they had a closing program where Teacher Shy revealed that this batch is the best batch so far, which she also told us before. Haha.
They gave me a HUMAN* polo shirt as a token. That was very nice of them. But it would have been better if it were cash. Kidding.
Tomorrow, I will be an examiner to the second year students as they take the National Assessment Test (NAT). I hope our school’s performance would be better this year.
I still have not computed my students’ grades and I have to submit it before the end of this week because the checking of forms will take place very soon.
Despite the busy sched, I have sneaked out for a few hours to meet with fellow bloggers in SoCSarGen–Sir Avel, Aethen, and Paul–at Coffee Dream. I also went out with Lotie to watch Juno and Jumper.
Next week, I might be in Davao City to claim my PRC license and hopefully, to join the Davao Food Appreciation Tour in time for the Kadayawan Festival.

whoa. I felt the same way too when I had my first ever thesis defense this year. It was more difficult compared to defending a scientific research. But good thing I was able to pass through it! yey.
ANG HIRAP MAGING SENIOR! haha. But it is worth the hardwork because it somehow gave me the idea how it is to be in college.
Congratulations and thank you, kuya ayel, because without teachers like you, we won’t be able to reach college, the last leap to our dreams.
Cheers! (:

God bless you as you enter college! I know you can hurdle through the challenges with ease because of your training in high school. Do well!

Chard, I’m not sure. I am planning to claim my license para may valid ID na ako na hinihingi sa mga transactions with different institutions. Hope to see you there if I can join you or if I’m welcome to join you. Haha.
Have a great day!
