OUT OF curiosity I Googled “Gensan Kalilangan Festival” and my post entitled “It’s Kalilangan Festival in GenSan!” is number in the results.

This means GenSan has yet to establish an online presence to promote its Kalilangan Festival. That must not be too far ahead because Sir Avel is working on that.

IT TOOK me so long to look for a theme with which I will feel comfortable. It’s this 1st Zaxioma theme that suit my taste–simple and light.
I have one problem, though, the sidebar is very long. When you visit the other pages like the new ANSHS Alumni page or the Say-hi page, the side bar exceeds the length of the page. When I have enough time, I will still be studying my side bar to make it look better.

I HAVE heard of horror stories that happened to fellow bloggers when they upgraded to Wordpress’ latest version. I upgraded this blog to 2.3.3 and found out that there’s nothing much to worry about if you just follow the suggested steps.
I don’t know yet why I upgraded. I have seen a few changes in the admin panel but I don’t fully understand yet what good these changes would do me.
I’ll be changing my theme soon. I have scheduled to that in March but I can’t wait, specially now that some of my tasks have been completed already–especially our yearbook, which is a long overdue.

PEOPLE DOWN South of Mindanao anticipate every February the Kalilangan Festival, grand celebration of the natural, cultural, and economic wealth of the Philippine?s Tuna Capital?the city of General Santos.
Kalilang is the Maguindanaon term for celebration, thus, February 16-29 is no less a time for fun and festivity.
General Santos City takes pride in its Tuna Industry that supplies the world with 2.4 million metric tons of high quality tuna each year. Because of that, the Philippines ranks 7th among the top tuna producing countries in the world, both in terms of fresh/frozen tuna and canned tuna. (from http://www.GenSantos.gov.ph)

THERE IS a President in a land not so far away who pleases herself by making people believe in her lies.
First, she told the people that life would become better for them?they would have plenty of food to eat, roof above their heads, education for their children, and work for the jobless.
But the people experienced none of these. In fact, if you would ask them, they would tell you their lives have become worse. So the people just moved on.
