Launching My Book Review Blog

ALTHOUGH I don’t have my own computer and internet connection (yet), I am very eager to add yet another blog to maintain. I have just realized that I should try to do some niche blogging concentrating on books and reading in general. It will contain book reviews, updates about books I’ve...

I WAS gone for three days because?our trekking to Sitio Kiangkos, Brgy. Pag-asa, Alabel, Sarangani Province. I have not taken enough rest yet so I will be telling you about it soon. There’s a lot of work for me to do here as the official documentor of the event. The Alabel East District officials expects me to compose a narrative report?of the journey, which they will be submitting to the DepEd Sarangani Division Office. I am still writing it now and I am organizing the pictures to accompany the report. I’ll be posting a copy of it on this blog, too.

IT SEEMS like everyone these days is so into earning from blogging. I, for one, is beginning to appreciate that you can actually learn from blogging.

When I first started blogging more than three years ago, my only reason was to express myself and to be different from the flock. Now, with the ubiquity of?opportunities for earning, why should you not join and ride the bandwagon?

Tuloy ang Pasko ng mga Bata postponed

LOOK AT how stupid that headline reads. Yes, but it speaks of the truth. The Filipino kids would never experience real Christmas so long as nobody truly cares about them.

Our trip to Kiangkos had just been potponed because the DepEd officials of the Division have not yet prepared their packages, while ours had already been packed last Saturday. And they did not even informed us about the change of schedule.

ON MONDAY until Wednesday, I will be scaling the heights of the mountains in my town for the post Christmas gift-giving dubbed as Tuloy and Pasko ng mga Bata.

I will go with the team composed of DepEd officials of Sarangani to distribute goods and to conduct?a fun day for the kids at Sitio Kiangkos, Brgy. Pag-Asa, Alabel, Sarangani Province.

The area is a mountainous place that is beyond the reach of vehicles. As I’ve heard, we have to walk about 5 hours on a steep trek to get to the place. So we actually set one day for the trip to the area and another one for the journey back home.

WELCOME 2008!

I am finally saying good bye to the year that has just passed. But to start the new year, I think it’s just but good to take a look back at what had happened in the last 365 days. Let me call this my Yearender.

JAN-FEB – I started my 2007 with the question of whether I was cut for teaching or not. Then I started to love teaching and to find somebody to love. Then I found myself busy completing my requirements for graduation. In the midst of that, I was doing my duties to my fellow students. I performed at the Pathways benefit concert after getting sick.
