THIS MIGHT sound like a copy cat post from Jehz, the Philippines’ blogging ans SEO guru. *wink* Just let me do so as it is the appropriate thing to do as the year ends…especially if you change theme as often as I did this year.
Let me continue…
Homeward Bound was born out of a prize I won in a blog writing contest more than a year ago. Thanks to Shari for paving the way to my owning and loving a self-hosted WordPress. In other words, I have only learned self-hosted blogging for that long. Although, I have been blogging (without earning) for over four years before I was introduced to a more “professional” blogging. Jehz, Winston, Aethen, Tanom, Richard, and BrVince were my “colleagues” then. Now, they all have soared the heights of the blogging industry. Well I have ascended, too, but only a bit.

HOMEWARD BOUND is doing a bit of public service just before the year ends.
A certain Bitster, left a comment on my post about the Pre-Need Code of 2008. It was a lengthy comment and I realize that it is a legitimate issue. I am not updated with these stuff but it got my interest as I really hate it when some influential people take advantage of the ordinary ones.
Here is the comment, verbatim:

STILL ECSTATIC from our first Grand Alumni Homecoming, which ended at around 9PM, I went straight away to Music Box KTV Bar at Santiago Boulevard, General Santos City where some cool bloggers gathered for a Christmas Party.

It was my first time in the said place and there waiting for me were Sir Avel, Tammy, Ms. Rosilie, Ms. Jinky, Ms. Sheng, Kyawster, and Borj.
Geesh. It was awkward at first. But after two bottles, my tongue was unleashed. I wish I didn’t talk too much. I’m afraid I sounded like a braggart. Haha.
But I had fun. I guess we all did — especially when

IT WAS really great. I guess we did a good job in organizing our First Ever Grand Alumni Homecoming.
The turnout was about just greater than that of other Alumni Homecoming events I’ve witnessed in other schools.
Our gratitude to everyone who made our event possible.
I’ll be blogging about it as soon as I have taken some rest.
Merry Christmas to everyone! Happy New Year in advance!

YAY,I’VE upgraded to WordPress 2.7! This is the Christmas gift I’ve just given this blog, Homeward Bound.
And note, I did it so painlessly, thanks to WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin. Although this plugin has given me some troubles about a month ago with my other WP installs, it work perfectly well (so far) with this one. So, hooray to WPAU and WP 2.7!
And guess what,
