WHEN I was a kid, my mother would always tell not to drink too much coffee because it makes one dull. Instead, she would coax me to take a lot of sleep, or else, my growth will be stunted. As a good kid, I obeyed her.
That was, before difficult challenges came my way that I had to stay awake 25 hours a day. In those times, coffee was my elixir.
These days, three fourths of my blood is caffeine. I need it to stay awake late in the night, when everyone?s already asleep. That?s the only time I can do what I need to do. Our house is really a big chaos during TV?s primetime.

I’M BACK, so alive and kicking.
(This is quite a longpost. Take a deep breath.)
I had not been blogging these past few days because something is wrong with the school’s internet connection. I can’t open blogs and other sites there. Sometimes, I experience errors even when simply opening mails or sending email messages with attachments.
I don’t blog a lot at internet cafe’s here. Life’s a little difficult here now. I’ve learned that it would take months before I could receive my first salary from the government.? So, blogging wouldn’t be part of my routine until I am able to purchase my own pc and internet service. (Sigh!)

ONE OF my classes challenged me to play 1 vs 28 against them, our adaptation of the game show on TV 1 vs 100.?If they can?beat me,?I will have to add extra points to their scores in the periodical examination.
Earlier, I asked them to propose an activity that will help them?make up for their low scores in their second periodical exam?and it was what they have decided to do. I can’t help but agree because I got excited by the idea. I can’t predict what will happen but I will prepare myself for our big day two days from now. I’m sure I will enjoy it.

THIS PICTURE was taken when we were traveling back from the beneficiary public high school of the Sharing the Light project of T’nalak Youth Group. No, we did not bring cigarettes to the the school. That large empty cigarette carton between Lotie and Ate Amor was used to keep the books collected from college students and other donors.
How I miss the things we used to do back in college. I am missing Pathways. I’m missing the office. But of course, I have to give them up to face a different challenge. I feel like a part of me now is in a slumber. There is challenge here but I can feel that something is missing. My life here is definitely incomplete.

I HAVE officially joined the government service. It is like an unopened package at the moment; I have yet to see what is in store for me.
When I think of government service, I always remember stories I have read about the Russian Troika, Chinese Communism, among others. I do not exactly know why but I think it is because I consider working for the government as something serious; that it requires more dedication and has more meaning than any other job. Those stories I have read talk of heroism and I feel that I might get to the deal with that word more often than ever.
