1 vs 28 Physics Students

Ayel

ONE OF my classes challenged me to play 1 vs 28 against them, our adaptation of the game show on TV 1 vs 100.?If they can?beat me,?I will have to add extra points to their scores in the periodical examination.

Earlier, I asked them to propose an activity that will help them?make up for their low scores in their second periodical exam?and it was what they have decided to do. I can’t help but agree because I got excited by the idea. I can’t predict what will happen but I will prepare myself for our big day two days from now. I’m sure I will enjoy it.

You know, things like this keep me interested in this job.?I don’t know but I just love playing and learning with the students.?The students?keeps me optimistic despite the things going on around me now like the fact that?some of my fellow teachers somehow show symptoms of disinterest in teaching. It would not help me if I allow myself to be influenced by them.

Another thing, my family sees me now as the income generator. I’m afraid this profession would?be reduced?to being merely a?livelihood.

Honestly, I’m going through a lot now. I hope my students would come up with more creative learning activities we all will enjoy.
